Wednesday 27th of February @ Win-Win // Entrance Free

TEDxGöteborgLive will return this month, live-streaming a segment of the TED 2013 conferences, straight from Long Beach Performing Arts Center in California. This year, TED's first-ever global talent search led to the biggest line-up of speakers in the conference series' history.

Through a giant-screen, the audience will be able to see, in first-hand and digital detail, several speeches, around 12 minuts each, following the theme  - The Young. The Wise. The Undiscovered. Entrance is (drop-in) free.

The live-streaming will be happening on Wednesday, the February 27th, with doors opening at 18h00pm, and closing around 23h00pm.

The live-streaming event will take place at the House of Win-Win, a public collective space for Gotebörg's creative people, in the urban district of Linnéstaden.

The House of Win-Win is in Tredje Långgatan 13b, 413 03, and it will serve light food, beer and wine (at convenient prices) for the event.

The venue is easy to reach and located in the center of four big public transportation stops: Järntorget, Pringsgatan, Masthuggstorget and Oscar Fredriks Kyrka.

You can know more about Win-Win at their website: http://win-win.se

The speakers will be divided in two sessions:

Session 4: Disrupt! (approximately from 18h00pm to 19h15pm)

Danny Hillis - computer theorist | BLACK - yo-yo champion | Lesley Perkes - public art instigator | Amanda Palmer - musician/blogger | Larry Lessig - legal activist

Session 5: Dream! (approximately from 20h00 to 21h45pm)

Rich + Tone Talauega - creative directors, choreographers | Elon Musk - serial entrepreneur | Mary Lou Jepsen - screen engineer | Taylor Wilson - nuclear scientist | Ji-Hae Park - violonist | Stewart Brand - environmentalist, futurist

The sessions will be moderated by TED main curator Chris Anderson - keep an eye out for the TEDxGöteborg social media for detailed info on the speakers.

Drop-in. Simple as that. These are ideas worth spreading we're talking about. So spread out the word. See them at their liveliest at TEDxGöteborgLive.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxGöteborg is a local, self-organized non-profit event that has brought people together to share a TED-like experience since 2009. At a TEDxGöteborg event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independenty organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

TED2013: The Young. The Wise. The Undiscovered. This line-up features the largest number of speakers in TED's history — more than 70. That's because many of the talks this year are shorter. Often 12 minutes or less, instead of 18. And nearly half of the program comes from our first-ever global talent search. Events were held in 14 cities around the world and attracted thousands of applicants, including some truly astounding youngsters.
