Due to the Corona Virus/Covid 19, the Spanish government have decided to reduce the risk of further contagion, all persons are confined to remain at home until the end of March.
Travel is reduced to a number of vital activities as purchase of food, health reasons, to and from work and other by the government listed exceptions.
The ports and airports of the Balearic Islands have been temporarily closed to passenger traffic, but the supply of food, medicine and electricity is guaranteed by Spanish law.
Spain is United and determined to fight the Virus fast. Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera have, in absolute figures, one of the lowest infection rates in Spain.
Mallorca is a favourite destination in Europe and has been so for the past five decades.
