Bus ticket as a key fob
Hallandstrafiken in Sweden is now launching bus cards packaged in a Areff "The Sail" RFID key fob. The solution was developed by Areff and field testing has been going on in Hallandstrafiken for several months with very good results and positive customer feedback.
"We have for some time been working on this solution together with Hallandstrafiken, and it feels great to launch it," says Rasmus Månsson, Account Manager at Areff.
RFID fun - Clubbers to enjoy a cocktail of Facebook and RFID
Clubbers in Dublin will be able to use RFID tags to trigger Facebook status updates to tell friends what food or drinks they are enjoying and be able to share other content, like photos.
