Stop the printers:
New Features …
We have updated Safety Button and added a bunch of good stuff – two new, much asked for features – sms number test and message refill.
For all of you who have already bought our app the update and the new features are of course free. If you have recharged your quota via our homepage, these text messages naturally stay in your account.
A brief look at the new features:
1) SMS number test feature
No more burning off your text message quota thanks to strange international number formats.
In the application you now have the feature to send a test sms to the number you have entered – through your regular carrier at your regular carrier price.
2) In-app text message refill
No more fiddling on our homepage to restock your SMS quota. Through the application you can now buy extra text messages – just a thumb’s slide away.
… and a new price!
We now lower the price of our app to equivalent of one dollar – the cheapest way you could ever stay safe in the streets.
A comparative study:
- Taser stun gun $349.99
- Mace $16.95
- One year of karate class $900
- Glock Calibre .45 $519.95
- Safety Button $0.99
Extra bonus feature of Safety Button: It is a legal accessory in the entire world.
Safety Button is still the only assault alarm using the iPhone’s GPS to help you stay safe.
Please tell your friends – there is really no reason to not having this application on your iPhone anymore.
This month's interesting read

The people behind ”Fight like a Girl” give some thoughts on their self defence philosophy. I myself really like the phrase “fight like a girl” – it sums everything up neatly.

A “Top 10 Self Defense Gadgets” list without Safety Button?? Sad but true. :)
But there are things I never hear of in this list. Maybe a bit more fun than actually usable…

Bonus link. A person unknown to our team has posted a great ad for Safety Button on an Aid Workers forum. Thank you for the kind words – and it’s a great way of using our service.
