New revision of cadett ELSA R35:

R35.0.1.3 is here!

cadett ELSA R35.0.1.3, the fourth revision of cadett ELSA R35, has been released.

Update now!

The update from R35.0.1.2 to R35.0.1.3 contains a number of important bug fixes and other improvements, among them the following:

• The OnLine protocol has been corrected.
• The handling of AutoCAD 2016 has been adjusted.
• The routines for updating workstations in networks have been corrected.
• The revision creation performance improvement has been corrected. Now this new feature has reached its full potential.
• Substantial performance improvement for the OnLine Engine
• The editor for composition of file names in the project parameters has been corrected.

The previous revision update contained the following improvements, among others:

• The sort order handling in the Drawing Manager has been adjusted.
• The automatic item designation generation feature has been corrected.
• The character code handling when generating DXF reports has been adjusted. Now forms in both Unicode and ANSI works fine without problems.
• Generation of PDF files with hyperlinks in formats larger than A3 has been improved.

Earlier the following, and more, was added:

• Support for new AutoCAD versions
• Support for hyperlinks in the Catalogue, for data sheets and similar
• Much faster revision management
• Support for server disks without DOS83 file name translation, which enables a substantial performance improvement if the server configuration is adapted
• The OnLine Engine has been made faster
• New improved installation principle for local installations
• Sheet shift back to the sheet that you came from
• Command to change internal and external sides of many terminals at once
• Support for multiple kinds of project locks, like for document management system integrations
• Support for report generation covering multiple projects (on the super project level) in cadett ELSA Enterprise
• Translator III has been integrated with the Report Generator.
• Translator III has been heavily extended with new features and other improvements.
• An entirely new generation of the Option Handler adds a long list of new features.
• A number of new features has been added to the text management functions, among them the possibility to select texts in the lexicon and auto-complete
• A new generation of the Drawing Manager adds a great number of new possibilities
• New Drawing Environment with ribbon menus
• User-defined project parameters

If you haven't already updated to cadett ELSA R35, it's time to do it now. It's the best most stable version of cadett ELSA ever.

• If you are using an older revision of cadett ELSA R35, you can update using a so-called incremental update. It's quick and easy and done in a couple of minutes.
  
  
• If you are using cadett ELSA R34 or older, you have to do a complete installation, including a hardware lock update. Also that is a smooth process, but it will take a little longer. Please feel free to contact cadett for advice!
